We are pleased to announce that Prolacta Bioscience will begin using tamper-evident neckbands and eliminating the plastic storage bags for its neonatal nutritional products in December 2018. During a transitional period, product shipments may contain some products with a tamper-evident neckband and some without the new neckband in a heat-sealed bag. We expect that the entire product line will be secured with tamper-evident neckbands by the beginning of the third quarter of 2019. Products will continue to be packed and shipped in the same cooler and cardboard carton currently used.

The tamper-evident neckbands offer several benefits:

• It will be easier to see if a product has been opened or tampered with, adding an extra measure of safety.
• Because the neckbands are color coded to match product labels, product identification by calorie content will be effortless.
• Applying the neckbands will eliminate the need to use the heat-sealed bags in which Prolacta products are currently packaged, so the products can be more easily stacked in the freezer.
